After the recent news about the ports, Dubai, the ongoing problem our currrent administratiion seems to have with honesty, I am compelled to make one of my few political blogposts. Ive added a few categories but I really have doubts now that anything that the Republicrats tell us is true. Or, what they say may be true, at one exact moment in time but as the next minute ticks through, its all dishonesty and vapour. The other things that have seemed to disappear are whether the guys at the top leaked more of the CIA’s identity and who really did it. The “Scooter” says it came from higher. A couple more steps and there is no “higher”. We’ve supposedly reached that high point where the PotUS lives. PotUS cannot make mistakes, must be true blue, knows security, and has the best interests of his adoring public. Hell, he’s listened to all of our conversations on the phone and read our email if it goes outside the country anyways. Its not like this bad ole internet respects where the boundaries are drawn. Perhaps PotUS needs to see that his local actions have global repercussions. Other past PotUS have made mistakes with other things which seem to have caused a variety of repercussions; yet the current PotUS seems to be slicked down with some kind of oil where events just slide off. The teflon no-stick surface?

Who knows where our beloved PotUS goes next. Ports, weapons, listening to calls, reading emails, bad news about the war and why. PotUS is in trouble and its not even a PotUS election year.

Poor PotUS. Lets all decide that we can do better than what we have now. But we have to vote. If you don’t do that, your voice is silent. Perhaps we all start with California and we’ll give your Governor true “total recall”. Let him remember what he said about schools, police, fireman, and nurses. They got his number anyways.

I most often refrain from blogging the body politick here because its like the separation of church and state. For me its the separation of blog and ideologue. I like by blog swinging by other pendulums of thought and not hampered by trying to read or reread some aspiring, wannabe, already got it, or lost it politician. In the capacity of lost it, I got to say that I am finding real doubt here with Arnold here in California of late. When Arnold first came down, I thought, “great an end to a “gray” (sorry) day”. I kinda thought that Davis really had no plan, no idea. It was like California was just stuttering along, missing the boat for the energy crisis, not dealing with racial or ethnic divides, not really addressing things at a technology level. Well, besides the sweet heart Oracle deal that is.

But now, Arnold really seems off in some political la-la land. Insisting on a special election that no one wants yet he claims to not represent certain ideologues. Now its the unions and their greed. He could not win with the teachers, police, firefighters, and nurses. But I could see that one coming. They are simply too powerful and they have the side of right and might. Now he seems to take aim at the shifting sands of yet other political ideology and no matter what, he will walk blindfolded into the whirling precipice and never look aside. Poor Arnold. He’s lost the trees for the forests. He no longer see the visible and tangible.

But why stop with California Politics. Is there anyone out there that really believes that George has even a clue let alone a train or a manifesto. He could not win the day with Katrina because there was no one to bullhorn to. No US Navy ship to land on. So he just plain failed. But shit travels downhill and so does the buck. Its a greedy, self-oriented, lack of focus administration we have. So many places they have lost focus and cannot regain it.

But its what we got. Dammit.
