Passports, Visas, Life

I chatted with a friend and ex work colleague living in Chennai today. He’s getting married over in Pondicherry early February. I got an invite and immediately started dreaming of attending. It’s so very tempting to simply ask my boss to let me work really remote for a week and just go. I have the frequent flyer miles and could get there and back and only spend money on food and lodging. My passport and Visa are in order. I have a 10 year multiple entry business Visa for India. Then I start dreaming of spending longer there. Maybe traveling the rails to the Bangalore office. Spending a month in country.

In reality it is highly unlikely to happen so I will wish Jayaraman the best and most auspicious of days. But maybe, just maybe I will ask and see what they say. Being in India would be like a glass of cherished water for the parched throat that I now have.

Best regards Jayaraman! And congratulations.
