Well, perhaps its good news. For me, I think I will be working even though it says that Older Americans Working Less. I always wonder who the measure of such a statistic is. There can be no participants in the SF Bay area since a single wage earner here really does not earn enough to simply buy a house, put food on the table, enjoyments for the kidsters, and sock some away for whatever period of time they will have for working less and living longer. I’ve heard San Francisco described as a bubble. It truly is in many ways. A news report said there are fewer children in SF than ever before. Families are moving out. I think they’ve had it with expensive costs.

The East Bay is no paradise either. Our 5 bedroom home has doubled in value and the median price for a home here must be in the upper 600’s. I know others that are moving back east, to Oregon, Nevada, even other countries. Whatever magic California had or still has is dwindling fast. As fast as all the costs of living continue to rise.
