The Macabee

It always amazing to me how things travel around, become the same, then change yet again.  Reading the news from the Double Mac with Cheese at the Mosconi always amuses me.  Mr. Jobs says that the new BigMacs with cheese will be 5 times faster than the old Double Double Macs with no cheese.  Geez.  I imagine the price point will always be just out of my reach and I actually looked at the price of the Big mac with the 17 inch screen.  I’ll take it with fries and a shake :).

Seriously,  if it takes a thing to become 5 times faster to approach the speed of a nice Pentium 4 with Prescott stuff and a 800mhz FSB, I’m glad to not be ordering a BigMac today.  I’ll just hold off and when you can install the BigMac OS on regular old P4’s, I may order one.  Alternatively when I can build one from component pieces like I can do with a P4 now and slip in fast SATA drives, 2g of supra fast, 256mb nvidia card, run something on it; I’m damned happy.

I don’t need the BigMac with cheese and fries because its bad for the “circulation”.

Its definitely bad for the wallet and I bet it does not get any better!
