Da Konfabulator

Apart from posting retrospectives and dreams and alterated reality states, I also found this rather cool program called Konfabulator. It provides a set of totally cool widgets much like my earlier post on Object Desktop. But right after the install of OD I started having wierd system slowdown problems and some java applications would simply not run. I also had some issues uninstalling things and had to clean the registry using Registry Mechanic. The Konfabulator provides sets of totally useful gizmos and widgets that do amazing things. I know this thing was on the molten lad platform before but now its pretty nice to have small groups of custom widgets that do things that a good Linux desktop has done for years
I have a nice calendar, the weather, a really cool monitor for wifi, battery, cpu, and a winamp remote controller. They all are small downloads and can be used in a variety of ways with different colors, translucencies, etc.

If you are looking for something different and nice and unique to dress up the desktop (and you are not running Gnome on Linux), give the Konfabulator a try. It will konfab you all together!
