In chapter two of our story about how to claim the blog search space, we are gonna see today Mr. Google claim weblogging as his very own. Given the success of Google understanding large infrastructure and architecture across the board, this should come as no surprise to anyone. As this matures, I think the folks here, here, and here are gonna have a new kid on the block. The combined entities like Bloglines may also be in for some interesting times.
Now its time to sit back and watch. The questions are whether the existing players see this as threat or perhaps coptition, whether they tune their own offerings in anticipation, and finally whether any get swallowed or digested as the marathoner google makes its play. Wanna bet which one will happen?

I happened over to Dave’s Blog to read a bit more. After a bit of the good ole honest reflection and after working and playing around blogging for awhile, I think there is gonna be some interesting times ahead.
