Its only life

When you live in the fast lane, you may only have time for a single blog. You rush to get whatever client you use fired up and then you let the lingo flow. I’ve wondered how people generate their thoughts around blogging for some time now. I kinda know the way I do it. I often get this constipated feeling by about 1800 each day and I know I got to fire up w.bloggar and try to build a song, verse, thought. Oftentimes, the first thoughts are just not capable or worthy. Although I have to admit that I have posted many things on retrospect were not really worthy. Others were plain fun and when I do those, I am not really concerned if they are worthy since they satisfy some different lust. Its interesting when I read other bloggers that I may love, hate, or simply read because I know of them from previous places I’ve worked like here. I like reading a few of the blogs of people I worked with (and for) since they communicate some great ideas. Others there communicate some lame ideas :). That’s the nature of the blog though. Sometimes I can remember this guy in middle school that was a bully. He was terribly brave and obnoxious and would do truly mean things once he figured out someone’s weakness. Now if that person became a blogger, I think he or she would engage in what I term social aggression and post terrible, biting, and pessimistic observations. But with bullies all one has to do is confront them at some level. In my case in middle school, I had enough. I bounced a basketball off the face of the bully and he whimpered away. Blogging removes the first person confrontation and people can exist in careful anonymity. Blessed anonymity and linkage! We all love ye!

I have dwelt a few times on what these wonderful communication and dialogue tools bring to us. They really allow such instant communication and we can carefully or innovatively reach so many people with the services we have. But the challenge has been laid down. The services we have will just have to grow and emerge to new levels. The services cemetary is full of those old services that no longer can cut the mustard or deliver the goods. Be bold but remember the lessons that sociology and anthropology teach us about social institutions and evolution.

All that being said, there is such a richness and tapestry to the thing happening that I feel fully able to write blog entries to two different blogs for a long time to come. I actually have a third WordPress instance for testing brought up on my personal webserver. My hosting provider seems to fade in and out of use these days. I want to be ready when the time comes for a move. I’ll probably go grab a copy of the posts there for my own use in the future.

I’m also working now on bringing up some more WordPress instances for work and will hopefully have some brand new blogs up and active soon that will be very interesting to read!
